When walking along “Søndergade” the main pedestrian street in Horsens, particularly when passing the huge glass cube “KUBEN” this summer, you are likely to meet some smiling and welcoming people wearing t-shirts with the slogan “WE love having YOU HERE”.
“Kunstskolen Snurretoppen” is a school and workshop where mentally challenged artists from Horsens and the local area can meet and work with their own creative projects and ideas while they learn from experienced teachers and other artists.
They are not afraid to be innovative at Gallery Hjorth. The owner Allan Hjorth has created a great new thinking gallery, where works from both local living artists and other of Denmarks talented artists are being displayed.
Every year becomes the park ”Lunden” a true flower sea with thousands of beautiful flourishing crocus.
It is an absolute joy to walk around the park in lovely sunshine surrounded with yellow, white and purple flowers – a joy for both visitors and locals from Horsens.
So wearing 4 shirts, woollen pantyhose, pants, rain pants, a large coat, large boots, scarf and gloves I walked to the cemetery nearby my home, Nordre Kirkegård (The Northern Cemetery).
